FIM X-Trial World Championship 2015 - round 1, Sheffield, UK
Reigning champion, Toni Bou, has started the 2015 FIM X-Trial championship with a win for Repsol Honda.
Beginning the series as he left off in 2014, eight-time X-Trial title winner, Bou, set the pace from the off, picking up just a single mark across all six hazards in both qualifying and the final round.
Having won the advantage to ride last in the finale, Bou fought off the challenge from 2006 series winner Adam Raga to continue a winning run that stretches back to January 2010.
Praising the unfailing performance of the Repsol Honda Cota 4RT, Bou was ecstatic to have come away with such an emphatic victory:
"Once again the four-stroke Repsol Honda has shown its domination, as we won with such a clear margin. However, there's no complacency. I'll continue to train hard, with my sights set on defending my run of eight world indoor titles and I'm firmly focused on the next event in France."
The second round of the FIM X-trial series takes place in Marseilles on 31 January, where Toni Bou aims to take the Cota 4RT one step closer to yet another straight title.
The four-stroke, 260cc Cota 4RT, including Toni Bou race replica option, is available to purchase through Honda's four official UK trials dealers:
