Honda Motor Europe are delighted to announce that they have aligned with the newly formed Team Honda 114 Motorsports in a partnership that will see riders Hunter Lawrence and Bas Vaessen compete on board the all-new 2018 Honda CRF250R. Under the guidance of two-time WMX world champion Livia Lancelot, the pair will begin their assault on MX2 world championship at the first round in Argentina at the beautiful track outside Villa La Angostura on March 4th.
After a productive off-season, hopes were buoyed even further when Lawrence won the team’s first competitive outing, at the opening round of the ‘Internazionali d’Italia’ series in Riola Sardo, with Vaessen also placing well after his long-layoff from racing.
The team are now set to compete at Lacapelle Marival in France this weekend, with the Team Honda 114 Motorsports awning likely to be filled with fans as they try to get a glimpse of the new Honda CRF250Rs as well as support the hugely popular Lancelot with her new venture, in what should be a great send-off before the long trip down to Patagonia.
