COVID-19 UPDATE 23/02/2021

Following the Governments Covid-19 announcement on 4th January 2021, ALL MOTORCYCLE RIDER TRAINING (INCLUDING CBT & THEORY TESTS) continues to be suspended until further notice.

This suspension currently also INCLUDES CBT!

Unfortunately no exceptions have been made and these restrictions also apply to the following:

Key workers

Essential workers

Delivery Riders

Couriers

Please note that if your CBT is due to expire, it will not be extended. This means that if your CBT is expiring you will not be allowed to continue to ride your motorcycle/scooter (unless you have a full UK driving licence and are entitled to ride a 50cc moped)

Unfortunately, any existing Module 1 pass certificates or theory certificates that are also due to expire during the lockdown suspension period will not be extended either. This means that you will need to re-take these tests again once the restriction period finishes.

If you have an upcoming course

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND ANY COURSES

If you have an upcoming course with Kent Motorcycles Rider Training, we have contacted you by email/mobile advising you that your course has currently been placed on hold. At this stage, until the Government/DVSA advises otherwise, we are unsure of when we can resume any training courses/tests. As such, we will be holding your course booking until such time as we are notified by the DVSA that we can resume training. This can only happen when our area reverts to Tier 3 or below.

This suspension of motorcycle training will be the same for all training schools in Tier 4 / Lockdown regions.

These are unprecedented times and the suspending of training courses is, of course, frustrating and beyond our control. Please note our offices are OPEN with some changes to how we operate throughout the duration of this Lockdown:

Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - Saturday: 08:30 to 18:00

We are closed on: Monday – Sunday

Once we have confirmation of when training can re-commence we will contact you and offer you the next and earliest available date to restart.

Finally, due to us operating reduced opening times during the Lockdown period, please allow additional time for us to respond to requests via email.

Thank you for your continued support.
